In June 11, 2025, amidst a gathering of nearly 200 distinguished guests from Europe, China, and the United States, Mindray Animal Medical celebrated the grand inauguration of its European Training Center at the World Trade Center (WTC) in the Hague, the Netherlands.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of key representatives from the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands, Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation Quarter South Holland, alongside veterinary industry experts, and Mindray Animal Medical's partners, as well as management team, commemorating this milestone event together.
Following the establishment of Mindray Animal Medical's European headquarters at The Hague WTC in 2022 - marking the first solid step of Mindray Animal Medical in European animal healthcare market - the 2025 launch of this training center represents further strengthened connection and cooperation with European veterinary experts. Leveraging experience from thousands of global veterinary training sessions, the center stands as a new landmark in the educational ecosystem of Mindray Animal Medical.
At the ceremony, the CEO of Mindray Animal Medical and the general manager of Europe of Mindray Animal Medical, addressed attendees, highlighting past achievements in global veterinary exchange and outlining the European training center's future vision.

As Europe's gateway and China's second-largest EU trading partner, the Netherlands enables Chinese enterprises to build continental hubs. Mindray Animal Medical's development in The Hague deepens Sino-Dutch collaboration in veterinary technology and green transformation.
On June 12, the European Training Center launched its flagship course: an "Echocardiography Master Class" led by June A. Boon - renowned author of the seminal text Veterinary Echocardiography and the emeritus clinical instructor of Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. With expertise dating back to 1980, Ms. June Boon systematically deconstructed cutting-edge diagnostic techniques for feline cardiomyopathy and pulmonary hypertension, significantly enhancing attendees' clinical capabilities.
June Boon's clear and accessible teaching style received unanimous praise from attendees. At the same time, the European Training Center's immersive learning environment—specifically designed to meet the unique demands of veterinary education—was recognized as a cornerstone of instructional excellence.
Take ultrasound training for example. The center deploys a dedicated scanning suite with light-control capabilities alongside three multifunctional display screens:
This training system delivers comprehensive instructional content with enhanced procedural visibility, significantly optimizing the learning experience through multidimensional skill transfer.
Moreover, the Europe Training Center features key scenarios such as emergency, laboratory, ultrasound and DR imaging, advanced operating theaters, ICU wards, and equine diagnostics. The facility also features with systems like the vetXpert Laboratory Information System, VetiNet CMS Veterinary Central Monitoring System, and an image-based internet communication and diagnostics platform. This enables veterinarians to engage in fully immersive, clinically authentic training experiences.
Regarding future development plans, Vinnie Xiong, General Manager of Europe of Mindray Animal Medical, emphasized that the European Training Center is a collaboratively developed platform shared with partners, professionals, and key opinion leaders. As the center continues to evolve, it will maintain close collaboration with veterinary KOLs, leveraging their expert insights to refine the curriculum and more precisely align with the clinical needs of veterinarians.
From this new starting point at the European Training Center, Mindray Animal Medical pledges to be the trusted partner of global veterinarians, jointly advance the future of animal healthcare.
